Directions: take 31W to Freeman Lake Park. Follow the park entrance to the fork in the road and take a left. The cemetery is within a stone wall next to the first wooden one-room school house.
This cemetery is maintained by the park department of Freeman Lake Park, which is a part of the City of Elizabethtown. It is not being used and has not been used since the early 1800's. There are tombstones within the walls, but are not readable. The above information was taken from the plaque on the front cemetery wall.
The names of those buried here were transcribed from the stone inscription in front of the cemetery. The tombstones located within its stone walls, are not readable and are very weather beaten and some tombstones are broken and missing. Many unmarked graves were a part of the orginal cemetery.
