From Irvine KY take KY 52 west to Winston Road. From Winston Road take Turpin 
Ridge Road until you reach the Newman Cemetery Road. This cemetery is about 7 
miles west of Irvine KY and about 15 miles east of Richmond KY. 

Many unmarked graves are located in this cemetery. Slaves of Sammy 
Newman are also thought to be buried in this 170 year old cemetery. 
Many graves are marked with rocks. This includes all the existing 
readable markers at the time of the printing of the list in a book 
written by deceased Ellen Rogers. Her niece asked me to copy these 
records.
