Warner Graveyard Owingsville, Bath County, Kentucky Lat: 38° 08' 07"N, Lon: 83° 46' 47"W Contributed by Darrell Warner, May 08, 2004 [darrellwarner@kc.rr.com]. Total records = 100. The Warner Graveyard is on Warner Lane on the west end of Owingsville. It is on top of a hill with a good view of the countryside. You can turn off US 60 onto Warner Lane and go through a gate and it is in a fenced field to the right. The Warner Graveyard was established in 1800 on the farm of Jacob Warner. According to stories passed down, the Warner Graveyard, at one point in time, had many tall pine trees in and surrounding it for many years. This cemetery has been vandalized in some way very badly in the recent years. Many differing stories prevail, but the fact remains there are burned stumps, fewer trees and many broken stones which prove something or someone did a lot of damage to it, including fire to the many trees that once were in and near it.
