McDaniel Cemetery
Barren Co., KY 
 

Located on 685 near Salem Church. Take highway 70 
from Cave City to 685. Turn right on 685 and 
continue south to Salem Church. Turn left into a field 
just before getting to the Church. The 
cemetery is in a clump of trees to the left. It is 
overgrown and unattended. Part of the cemetery is 
enclosed in a rock wall. Most of the stones outside 
the wall are down broken and some destroyed. 
Difficult to determine unmarked graves.
The Cemetery board is in the process of cleaning and 
restoring this cemetery. Six Confederate soldier 
graves have been found.
